Nimble Science is at the forefront of developing next-generation microbiome-based diagnostics and therapeutics. By leveraging innovative capsule-based sampling technology, we enable liquid biopsies that target the small intestine, enhancing understanding and diagnosis of intestinal health conditions. Our collaborative efforts span globally, making us a leader in gut health research and technological development.

 

We are seeking a motivated Clinical Laboratory Director to oversee the launch of an innovative metagenomics profiling test.

 

The position is part-time and remote/hybrid.

 

Nimble Science is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Laboratory Associate Intern

  • Full-time Co-Op position with a 16-month contract (May 5th, 2026 to Aug 20st, 2027)

  • The Laboratory Associate Intern assists in the day-to-day roles involved in Nimble’s Laboratory Operations.  They will contribute to innovating novel diagnostic solutions and building a powerful multi-omics database. It is a hands-on position that will report to the Laboratory Manager

Product Development Intern

  • Full-time Co-Op position with a 16-month contract (May 5th, 2026 to Aug 20st, 2027)

  • As a Product Development: SaMD and Integrations Intern at Nimble Science, you will help ensure reliability, security, and performance while actively participating in design discussions, test planning, and cross-functional problem solving. 

Biomedical
Intern

  • Full-time Co-Op position with a 16-month contract (May 5th, 2026 to Aug 20st, 2027)

  • This presents a technical role that offers a valuable opportunity for a mechanical, biomedical, biomechanical engineering co-op student to gain essential skills and experience in the design, testing, and manufacturing of medical devices.
